Actor Daniel Radcliffe poses for Flaunt magazine’s November 2013 issue, where he talks playing a gay character in love and politics, plus R&B singer Cassie glitters for Vibe Vixen magazine, and reveals Diddy’s influence on her becoming a businesswoman, and the rumors she’s signed to Drake’s OVO label…

Daniel Radcliffe poses on Flaunt magazine’s November 2013 issue and opens up about him playing a young gay man in love and the political spectrum in the United States, he says:
On playing a young gay man in love:
“I don’t think there’s any difference between how one falls in love. People express love differently, person to person, but it’s not gender or sexuality related. The only difference it made was obviously the actual sex scene, of course… I was talked through it by the director. He would be telling me what I would be feeling in each take. Basically, gay sex, especially for the first time, is really f–king painful. And [director John Krokidas] said that he had never seen that portrayed accurately on film before. He wanted it to look like an authentic loss of virginity.”

On the political spectrum in the United States:

“The thing I’ve learned from spending time in America is that the fatal mistake is to consider it to be one country, or to tar any particular region with one brush. America has such a strong conformist character that the counter culture that arises from it is all the more vibrant—that goes all the way from Ginsberg to Nirvana…actually, ever since the 1920s onwards.”

Cassie glitters on the October 2013 digital cover of Vibe Vixen magazine, where she speaks about the rumors she is signed to Drake’s label OVO and Diddy’s influence on her becoming a businesswomen, she says:
On rumors she was signed to Drake’s label OVO:
“I honestly don’t know where that came from but I had heard about it. I went to the OVO Festival in Canada, which was really dope, but no, I’m currently signed to Bad Boy and Interscope. Drake and I talked at the festival about working together, so hopefully that comes into fruition.”Cassie discusses plans for her second album, whether she uses her good looks to her advantage and her love of the outdoors.”

On Diddy’s influence on becoming a businesswoman:

“Absolutely. Just being around him is a completely inspiring experience. Starting my own empire would be great. I’m trying to figure that out. I’m still working with Cassie Enterprises right now but I think that would be something I would love to do.”
